Coronavirus Update

A message from Pastor Mike Smith...

To the wonderful people of Fair Haven,

In light of COVID-19, the church is taking every precaution necessary for the safety & health of our congregation. That being said, we will not operate in fear, but will continue to preach the Gospel as we have been called to do. Especially in times like this; hope, faith, love and salvation need to be broadcasted from our pulpits throughout the community.

Our sanctuary will remain open with chairs spread out for people to sit considering the social distancing guidelines our government has asked us to respect. We also will have smaller classrooms set up to view the service on TV monitors, but still be able to have some interaction and fellowship on our church campus. Online viewing and Facebook Live will also remain available. Any changes to services or such will also be posted here.

We ask that each of our members and guests determine if they are well enough to be in attendance. For those that are well, we believe it is important to remain open to be a refuge, to be a support, and to be the CHURCH! For those that do not feel comfortable attending or are more vulnerable to the virus, we wish to be the hands and feet of Jesus to you and wish to provide additional ways for you to participate in services. So please join us if you able each Wednesday at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 9:45 AM for Sunday School and 10:45 AM for Worship Service to share what is truth from God's Word as we trust Him and His plan for today!

I am aware that no matter what decision is made I will be wrong to some people, but this is written after seeking much counsel, prayer and it is with great conviction that I believe in having services while at the same time doing my best to honor our governmental requests. If the church can help you in any way, please reach out to myself or one of the deacons. Contact information can be found by clicking here.

Blessings,

Pastor Mike
